We changed our name from Enie to Soly South Africa

As per 1 september 2022, we are operating under a new brand name: Soly. Following our steady growth in recent years in The Netherlands, Belgium and South Africa, and our ambition for further expansion in new countries, we wanted to operate under a uniform and recognizable brand. Our mission and core values remain the same: making solar energy accessible to all.

Soly: our worldwide, uniform brand name

Over recent years, we have made some great strides. In South Africa we are to a large extent active on the commercial market, helping companies grow, by making them less dependable on the unreliable grid. We will still be doing that in years to come, as we believe in the benefits of solar energy: saving money, continued access to solar energy and no more side-effects of load shedding.

In line with our recent expenditure to Belgium – the Flemish region – we are opting for a worldwide, uniform brand name. This is why we’ve decided to proceed under our new brand name: Soly. For more information about Soly South Africa, feel free to visit our Abous Us page.

New name, new style – a brand new website

As you might have noticed already, we are also changing the style of our website. A new brand means a new website: you can now visit us over here at: soly.co.za. Over here we’ve made some fine adjustments to the style and design. From our homepage it’s now very easy to browse through the website and find the information you are looking for. If you’re looking for a Solar check on your location, this is still accessible. Get to know the benefits of solar panels in your specific situation. Our former domain is no longer available. When you visit the website you will automatically be redirected to soly.co.za.

What’s next in South Africa?

After changing our name to Soly, we will be changing our online presence accordingly. This means, you’ll see similar updates across all our Social Media profiles to ensure both consistency and quality. In addition, we will be expanding our team to – even better – assist you in making the switch to solar energy. We are looking forward to creating a bright future together with you.
